English: Pelican in Audubon Park New Orleans 1919. Per 4 November 1917 Times-Picayune, newspaper the park's white pelican named Bill, had been banished to an outdoor pond after he proved to be too greedy and too much of a bully to co-exist with the other birds in the park's flight cage.
