Summary edit

Description

Motor court hotel in Perry, Georgia, March 1941.

Dad's diary entry for March 21, 1941:

"We headed northward on U.S. 41 toward Atlanta. We stpped howevever at Perry, where the Perry Motor Court turned out to be as good as we have found anywhere in the United States At the nearby Perry Hotel we had a magnificent supper in the dining room."

My brother and I got out of school for a few extra days during spring vacation while we went on a southern trip. I have no memory of the motel. I just found the negative by accident.

The vehicle might be a 1941 Ford station wagon.
