DescriptionPeter W. Rodino Federal Office Building day-time rendering.jpg | Completed 1968, the 16-story Peter W. Rodino Federal Office Building in Newark, New Jersey will be completely renovated between 2011-2015 with the goal of achieving U.S. Green Building Council's LEED® Silver designation. The upgrade will construct a new glass curtain wall over the existing precast façade, which will transform the structure’s outward appearance and interior offices spaces will be renovated. While it has undergone partial asbestos abatement in the past, this project will provide for abatement in the balance of the building. Owned by the GSA, the project received $147 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment funding. | ||
