English:
Saint Andrew church. Baroque. Listed. Built in 1772-1774. Its tower, damaged in 1944, regained its original shape in 2014. In the niches on the façade you can see statues of St. John the Apostle and the patron saint of the church, St. Andrew the Apostle. The altarpiece, made by Béla Kontuly in 1954, depicts the crucifixion of St. Andrew. On either side of it stands statues of St. Peter and St. Paul. The altar holds the remains of St. Justin the Great and Aurelius. Under the sanctuary there is a crypt. The church built by Mrs. Anton Grassalkovich Baroness klobusici and zétényi Terézia Klobusicky on the basis of the will of Anton Graf Grassalkovich Imperial Real Privy Councilor, President of the Royal Hungarian Court Chamber. In the churcyard: Holy Trinity column, Crucifix (1910), Madonna and Child statue, Christ on the Cross sculpture and World War II memorial obelisk can be see. - Templom Square, Bag, Pest County, Hungary.

Bag Szent András római katolikus templom. Barokk, 1772-1774. Torony felső része és sisakja 1963-ban készült. Az ún. Pongrácz féle térkép ezen a helyen Árpád kori kerek templomot jelől, majd egy kis fatemplomot. A későbbi gótikus templomot a rácok pusztították el 1562-ben. A XVII. századben a gyöngyösi ferencesek létesítettek missziót Bagon. 1740-ben a földes (falu) úr Gróf, korábban báró Grassalkovich Antal római katolikus Felvidékieket (palócokat) telepített faluba. A jelen templomot Grassalkovichné klobusici és zétényi báró Klobusicky Terézia 1772-1774-ben építtte fel. Az 1944-ben megsérült torony 2014-ben kapta vissza eredeti alakját. A homlokzati fülkékben Szent János apostol és a templom védőszentje Szent András apostol szobrai láthatókak (megj. bal oldali kezáben kehely van a jobb oldali kezében könyv). A Kontuly Béla által 1954-ben készült oltárkép Szent András keresztrefeszítését ábrázolja. Ennek két oldalán Szent Péter és Szent Pál szobra áll. Az oltár Nagy Szent Jusztin és Auréliusz (Szent Aurél?) maradványait örzi. A szentély alatt kripta van. Az 1847-es Péter -Pál napijégeső elverte a termés és súlyosan károsítottta templomot ennek alkalmából a bagi hívek Sarlós-Boldogasszony napján minden évben gyalogos zarándokalatot tesznek a Máriabesnyői kegyhelyre. Info: helyi tájékoztató tábla Műemléki védelem, azonosító: 6898, törzsszám: 6908. - 1953-ban felhelyezik harangot a toronyba. 1953 2012.08.27: az ablak új katedrál-üvegezéssel készült, régen az óra számlapja fekete alapon fehér számokat tartalmazott ÉS a bagi 23-as helyrajzi számú, 2255 m2-es templomkert 2012-ben került vissza az egyházhoz. A tető, 2013-2014-ben a korábbi pala helyett cserépborítást kap. A templom körül sűrűn fenyőfák állnak (a templomkertben).
