Deutsch: Die Stele würdigt vor allem den Gründer der Notgemeinschaft deutscher Wissenschaftler im Ausland". Die Namen von 1794 durch die Notgemeinschaft geretteten Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern verteilen sich über die drei Seiten der Stele und lassen durch ihre Anordnung auch das Porträt von Philipp Schwartz hervortreten.
English: The stele pays tribute above all to the founder of the Notgemeinschaft deutscher Wissenschaftler im Ausland. The names of 1794 scientists rescued by the Notgemeinschaft are spread over the three sides of the stele, and their arrangement also allows the portrait of Philipp Schwartz to come to the fore. |
