| Description |
English: Built circa 1950, this Modern International-style building was constructed to consolidate the offices of the Phillips Petroleum Company, which had previously been scattered around Bartlesville, into a single location. The building stands 10 stories tall, and houses corporate offices, as well as a recreation center and gymnasium for employees in a 3-story rear wing, with a relatively restrained red brick exterior, partially a result of postwar material shortages and changes in architectural tastes in favor of Modernist aesthetics. The building today houses offices for ConocoPhillips, as well as a recreation center. |
