English: Observation on the hill of the battle
עברית: תצפית על גבעת הקרב של הל"ה, Original Image Name:תצפית על גבעת הקרב, Notes:מחלקת הל"ה, הייתה מחלקה של 35 לוחמים, מהם 18 מהפלמ"ח ו-17 מהחי"ש, בפיקודו של דני מס, שהיה קודם לכן מפקדו של גוש עציון. רוב לוחמי המחלקה משתי היחידות היו סטודנטים של האוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים והאחרים טיילים וסיירים ותיקים. המחלקה יצאה במלחמת העצמאות, כדי לסייע לגוש עציון הנצור ולתגבר אותו בלוחמים ובאספקה. אור ליום 16 בינואר 1948 המחלקה התגלתה בדרכה על ידי ערבים מהכפר צוריף, כותרה על ידי המוני ערבים מהסביבה וכל לוחמיה נפלו בקרב שנמשך כל היום. , Location:הרי יהודה וירושלים
