Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_62961_IMG_20200311_112438.jpg Notes: באביב 1917 גרשו הטורקים אלפי יהודים מתל אביב ומיפו והם מצאו להם מקלט זמני בסוכות שבנו מעצי אקליפטוס בשולי המושבה כפר־סבא. חוסר התנאים הסניטריים גרם למגיפות ורבים מהמגורשים מתו. בבניין הח'אן הוקם בית חולים ארעי וצוות רפואי קטן ניסה לעזור כמיטב יכולתו. בשנת 1887 נוסדה על גבול יפו השכונה היהודית הראשונה - נווה-צדק. השכונה תוכננה מלכתחילה לאכלס 48 בתי-אב (הרחובות רוקח, שטיין) במהרה הצטרפו משפחות נוספות ונוספו הרחובות: כפר סבא, שרעבי, בוסתנאי, אלרואי, אמזלג, נוה צדק, אחווה ורחוב שלוש.
