Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_67172_2.jpg Notes: בתי המושבה ראשון לציון שנוסדה ב1882 זכו לאספקת מים רק ב1912 כאשר בנו על גבעה בנקודה הגבוהה ביותר במושבה במימון עצמי ומכספי הלוואות מבנק אנגלו פלשתינה מגדל מאבני כורכר ועליו מוקמו שני מכלי מתכת גדולים לאגירת מים. כיום ברחוב בילquotו. בשנת 1939 הועברה למקום זה משטרת היישובים העבריים. על גג הבריכות הותקנה עמדת תצפית ואיתות. בתקופה מאוחרת יותר שימש המבנה כמחסן לכלי הגינה של גן ילדים. מגדל המים הידוע הממוקם ליד המדרחוב בראשון לציון שנבנה ב1898 סיפק מים בצינורות רק אל בתי פקידי הברון.
