Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_69593_DSC06734.JPG Notes: מתחם אַוגוּסְטֶה ויקטוֹריה הוא מתחם אשר הוקם על ידי וילהלם השני קיסר גרמניה בראשית המאה ה-20 אשר קרא לו על שם אשתו אוגוסטה ויקטוריה. המתחם המשתרע על שטח של כ-80 דונם על שלוחה של הר הזיתים בירושלים הנקראת כתף הר הזיתים כולל כנסייה מפוארת ולהּ מגדל פעמונים וכן אכסניית צליינים שנועדה גם לגרמנים תושבי הארץ. האכסניה משמשת כיום בית חולים. במזרח המתחם שוכן quotהמכון הגרמני הפרוטסטנטי לארכאולוגיה בארץ הקודשquot שהוקם בתחילת המאה ה-20 ובו ספרייה גדולה.ויקיפדיה
