Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_71530_1.jpeg Notes: סידנא עלי quotאדוננו עליquot הוא מסגד הנמצא על הצוק בחלק הצפוני של חוף הרצליה סמוך לשכונת נוף ים. המבנה היה המסגד של הכפר הערבי אל-חרם ששכן במקום עד מלחמת העצמאות. במסגד קבור הקדוש המוסלמי עלי בן-עולים מצאצאי החליף עומר בן אל-ח39טאב. לפי המסורת הערבית היה עלי לוחם מוסלמי שנהרג בקרבות עם צלבנים בסביבת אפולוניה ב 1250 בקירוב. המבנה הנוכחי של המסגד הוקם בתקופה הממלוכית בשנת 1481. בשנת 1948 נמלטו התושבים המוסלמים מכפרם. בשנת 1990 הוחזר המסגד למוסלמים. המקום שופץ והיום קיים בו בית תפילה מוסלמי פעיל.
