Deutsch: Die Stadtmauer in Südosten von Piran verläuft von der Steilküste im Nordosten quer über den Hügel Mogoron fast bis zum Hafen. Die Befestigungsanlage wurden zur Abwehr von türkischen Angriffen im 15. und 16. Jahrhundert gebaut.
English: The city wall in the southeast of Piran runs from the steep cliffs in the northeast across the hill Mogoron almost to the port. The fortifications were built to ward off Turkish attacks in the 15th and 16th centuries.
