editDescriptionPlaquette Napoleon, Boschstraat Breda.jpg |
English: Plaque of Napoleon at Boschstraat 92, Breda. Napoleon never lived on Boschstraat, but on Sunday May 6, 1810 he drove through this street in a carriage with 10 horses. He left from the then Departmental Courthouse on Kasteelplein (now the Justinus van Nassau building), where he settled the conflict between Catholics and Protestants over the ownership of the Great Church. He then traveled to Den Bosch, where the Boschstraat was the only road from Breda to Den Bosch.
