Depicted person: Gustav IV Adolf av Sverige

Svenska: Oljemålning på duk. Duken med tvärgående söm på baksidan.
Knäbild, fas v, uniform, vita byxor, blå rock med vit armbindel, spetshalskrås, Serafimerordens axelband och kraschan, ordenstecken för kommendör av Svärds-, Nordstjärne- och Vasaorden. I v. hand plymagerad hatt, h. hand pekar på den svenska kungakronan (Maria Eleonoras krona), liggande på ett hyende på pall med ben i form av karyatider. Gulbrun bakgrund, till v. pelare, till h. stol med mantel.
Otydlig signatur vid nederkanten: "Jonas Forsslund 1794", Påskrift med svart färg a.t. "Konung Gustaf IV Adolph". Kilad spännram av furu med tvärslå. Upptill fastklistrad pappersetikett med maskinpåskrift: 2583.
Skuren, på framsidan förgylld prydnadsram av furu. Dekor med pärlstavar, två på framsidan flankerande en slät list, en vid bakkanten. Vid ytterkanten en bred bladstav. Nertill en rektangulär textplatta med svart text: "GUSTAF IV ADOLF". Upptill överstycke i form av kartusch krönt av lös, kunglig krona, på kartuschen en oval sköld med tre kronor, horisontell, böjd skraffering, runt skölden Serafimerordens kedja och tecken, bakom kartuschen två korslagda lagerkvistar.
På prydnadsramens baksidan iskruvat två kraftiga järnringar. Vid överkanten två järnringar med 80 mm långa, triangulära beslag, fastspikade på ramens baksida. I den ena ringen fäst adresslapp av linne (?) med bläckpåskrift: "R U Rudbeck // Edsberg". På kronans och ramens baksida fastklistrat papperlapp med maskinpåskrift: "2597".
