Description
English:
Csongrád Post Office. Former Saving Bank Headquarters. Built in Eclectic Style, in 1904 planned by Sándor Mészáros - 1 Dózsa György Square (Erkel Ferenc Street corner), Csongrád, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary.
Magyar:
Csongrád Posta. Emléktábla szerint(megj. én nem találtam), „Ezt a házat a Csongrád és Vidéki Takarékpénztár Eszes Mátyás vezérigazgató kezdeményezésére fennállásának 13. évében 1904. év folyamán építtette”. A Dózsa György tér felőli oldalon kosáríves keretű, kétszárnyú, fából készült díszes gyalog- és kocsikapu készült. A déli oldalon, az Erkel Ferenc utca felől még egy kocsibejárat van kétszárnyú kapuval. E kaputól a kelet felé húzódó épületszárny emeletes magtárnak épült.
