Description	Nederlands: Collectie / Archief : Fotocollectie Dienst voor Legercontacten Indonesië Reportage / Serie : [DLC] Vertrek Plancius met 540 KNIL demobiliserenden en repatrianten naar de Molukken Beschrijving : Priok: "Plancius" brengt 540 inheemse KNIL-gedemobiliseerden en recuperanten terug naar de Molukken. Veel hebben ze onder de Jappentijd verloren, deze inheemse KNIL-getrouwen met hun langdurige staat van dienst. trouw aan hun zaak, aan onze koningin en vlag, hebben ze doorlopend vooraan op de bres gestaan. Hun gezinnen hebben ze vaak vele jaren niet gezien, omdat die in republikeinse interneringskampen zaten opgesloten. Nu keren ze terug, voor een welverdiende recuperatieverlof of om te demobiliseren. Hun geboortegrond in de Molukken, zowel in Menado als in Ambon, is vernield.
