Deutsch: Südostansicht des Berghauses Hochschneeberg in der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Puchberg am Schneeberg und links ein Teil des neuen Bergbahnhofes der Schneeberg-Zahnradbahn.
Das Hotel befindet sich auf 1800 m Höhe am Osthang des 1888 m hohen Waxriegels auf dem Schneebergplateau. Errichtet wurde es 1898 im Zuge des Baues der Schneeberg-Zahnradbahn nach Plänen der Architekten Helmer & Fellner. Seit Mitte der 2000er Jahre ist es an das öffentliche Wasser- und Kanalnetz angeschlossen (die Fischerhütte wurde als letzte 2009 angeschlossen: [1]). Der neue Bergbahnhof links wurde direkt am Hotel angebaut. Vorarbeiten für den neuen Bahnhof erfolgten bereits 2007 ([2]) und 2009 wurde er in Betrieb genommen, wobei die Errichtungskosten rd. 3,5 Mio. Euro betrugen: [3], [4].
