English: The encystation of pathogenic flagellates. When exposed to an anoxic environment, the pathogenic flagellates immediately formed cysts, clustered with each other, and aligned at the oxic (left side)–anoxic (right side) interface. Movie S1 was submitted as “mpg” file, separately.
