oh yes, i have another guitar, my 20 year-long buddy -- Guild D-30, but i couldn't resist buying this carbon fiber based one, RainSong JM-1000: one of the toughest guitar on this planet. actually, i always wanted to have 'jumbo' body since my Guild is D-body (dreadnought), and I wanted to enjoy different tone now and then. but there hadn't been any chance or i couldn't put it in action until last week. sorry about to mention this because i know there is some people suffering from it, but thanks to exchange rate between dollar and yen, the price of this guitar was suddenly dropped dramatically (a store clerk explained); the praice moved me. anyway, now i'm pretty satisfied with this new-buddy. tone and note is better than i expected, and the direct response which i'd been told is certainly it is. and i no longer need to worry about Japan's hot-humid air in summer and cool-dried air in winter. the only minor concern is 'trace rod less' design. i don't know it is okay in long period with strings' tension. if the neck would bend. i cannot adjust it. i hope it stronger than the tension. |
