DescriptionRed line train at Daybreak Parkway.jpg |
A Utah Transit Authority Trax light rail vehicle traveling south on the red line in Daybreak. The LRV is a Siemens S70. This is the southern terminus of the red line, which runs from Daybreak to the University of Utah. Twenty-five stations and about forty-five minutes later, you've been from terminus to terminus and from one corner of a metropolitan area to another. The southern Daybreak station, as well as its northern counterpart, has this modern design that can't be found outside of Daybreak. I like it. Note that in the background of the photo, there's nothing. From the southern terminus of the red line to the 5600 West station, it appears as if the line runs through a desert plain. Daybreak is close by, but development hasn't reached the tracks just yet. |
