Ä. von Niederbayern, aufgehoben 1802, von 1802-1826 bayerische Landesuniversität, 1839- 1932 und seit 1956 wiederum Sitz der Regierung von Niederbayern; dreigeschossige Dreiflügelanlage, die sich an die Nordseite der Kirche anschließt, erbaut ab 1699; ehem. Anatomisches Institut, jetzt Staatsoberkasse, zweigeschossiger, klassizistischer Walmdachbau, 1803/04; sog. Ursulinenflügel des Regierungsgebäudes, einst Wirtschaftstrakt dieses Klosters, barock, um 1700; ehem. Wehrturm der Stadtmauer im Dominikanergarten, mittelalterlich, Anfang 19. Jahrhundert, ausgebaut als Palmenhaus; ehem. Dominikanerklosterkirche, dreischiffige Basilika mit einschiffigem Chor, im Kern frühgotisch, Dachwerk über Chor 1291 (dendro. dat.) und Dachwerk über Hauptschiff des Laienhauses 1340 (dendro. dat.), Umgestaltung des Inneren durch Johann Baptist Zimmermann 1747-1752, Westfassade klassizistisch verändert 1804; mit Ausstattung; ehem. Mariahilf-Kapelle und ehem. Magdalenenkapelle, im Kern gotisch, barock verändert, dienen jetzt der russisch-orthodoxen Gemeinde (St.-Nikolaus-Kirche); mit Ausstattung. D-2-61-000-450 |
