Frechen 1983 Aufnahme: Gabriel Simons; Schnitt/Kommentar: Alois Döring Wie es im 19. Jahrhundert üblich war, wird die Braunkohle in einer Kuhle mit der Spitzhacke gelöst mit der Haspel zu Tage gefördert, unter Wasserbeimischung zu einem Brei getreten und in Eimern zu Klütten ausgeformt. Heute werden im Tagebau Fortuna Schaufelradbagger zur Nutzung der Energiereserven des Rheinischen Braunkohlereviers eingesetzt, die Kohle wird in den Fabriken maschinell zu Briketts gepresst. |
