«Eine neue sozialistische Bewegung hat in den USA nur eine Chance, wenn sie sich auf die Transformation der Betriebe konzentriert. Die Selbstverwaltung der Betriebe stellt eine nicht vollendete bisher vernachlässigte Dimension der radikalen Transformationsversuche in der Vergangenheit dar. Nur so können wir auf den Errungenschaften früherer sozialer Kämpfe aufbauen und müssen nicht noch mal von vorne anfangen. Die Selbstverwaltung der Betriebe durch die ArbeiterInnen muss also für uns Linke im zentralen politischen, ökonomischen, analytischen und programmatischen Fokus stehen.» (Richard D.
