English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Famer's sons from Zeeland compete against eachother on unsaddled horses in the annual tilt at the ring in Middelburg. Audience and participants are mostly in traditional Zeeland attire. By the old tradition, the winner is tossed in the air.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
In Middelburg komen Zeeuwse boerenzonen op ongezadelde paarden tegen elkaar uit om deel te nemen aan de jaarlijkse ringrijderij. Publiek en deelnemers veelal in Zeeuwse klederdracht. De winnaar wordt, naar oude traditie, gejonast. |
