English: Jan Olieslagers' Blériot XI over Rotterdam. Lieutenant Jan Olieslagers was a Flemish motorcycle and aviation pioneer who set world records with both types of machinery. He became a flying ace during World War I; he was credited with six confirmed victories. He later was instrumental in developing Antwerp's airport.
Nederlands: Jan Olieslagers' Blériot XI boven Rotterdam. Jan Olieslagers (Antwerpen, 4 mei 1883 - Berchem, 23 maart 1942) was een Vlaamse motor- en wielrenner, luchtvaartpionier en luchtaas in de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Hij was ook wel bekend als "den Antwerpschen Duivel".
