L.S.C.: Leidsch Studenten Corps, Virtus Concordia Fides (\'Leiden student association, virtue, unity, loyalty\'). The fraternity was founded in 1839 and merged in 1974 with the sorority V.V.S.L. (Vereeniging voor Vrouwelijke Studenten te Leiden) into the mixed student association Minerva.
Njord, the rowing subassociation of the L.S.C. was founded in 1874 and is located at the Galgenwater in Leiden. The clubhouse is at the Morschweg. It is named after the Nordic god Njord.
