Description
Deutsch: Steinerne Info-Tafel an der Turm-Mauer der Ruine Ramsenburg in Herisau. Die eingravierte Inschrift lautet:

Rosenburg (Ramsenburg ? stock ? ) 926 M.ü.M. erbaut um 1150 / Sitz der Ritter von Rorschach / 1396 an die Fürstabtei St.Gallen verkauft 1403 im Appenzeller Freiheitskampf zerstört, seither im Besitz der Gemeinde Herisau. 1937 durch den freiwilligen Arbeitsdienst ausgegraben und ge- sichert unter Hilfe des Schweiz. Burgenvereins, des historischen Vereins St.Gallen und privater Burgenfreunde.

Als Eigentum der Gemeinde der Obhut aller Besucher empfohlen.
