Description Three masted top sail schooner SS Kathleen & May, which featured in the BBC series 'The Onedin Line', at the Barbican, Plymouth, August 1977. She was built by Ferguson & Baird, Connah's Quay, Wales in 1900 for Coppack Bros as SS Lizzie May and engaged in coastal trade, later becoming a coal lugger for MJ Fleming, Ireland as the Kathleen and May. She is now preserved as the last British wooden-hulled three masted schooner. Scanned slide.
