Az ösi múltuÓvárosban a mintegy 300 éve letelepedett rácok/szerbek kulturája is meghatározó, A főutca hangolata az 1900-es éveket idézi (habár egyre több az átépített ház). A katolikus templom mellett van a 2010-ben felűjított (és elnevezett?) Szent László tér Szent László szobrával számos rendezvény helyszíne. A tér túloldalán a falu életében meghatározó szerepet betöltő tanító néniről elnevezett Zenálkó Etel Óvárosi Közösségi Ház amely a Barátság Kultúrális Központ Intézmény része és amlyben színházterem és klubszobák találhatók.
