Español: Especie común de saltamontes se encuentran en no áridas. fue un organismo muy estudiado en la biología evolutiva y fue un modeloimportante para el estudio de filogeografía Europea .
Se encuentra desde Escandinavia por el norte hasta el sur de España y Anatolia en el sur. Prefiere vegetación húmeda y en las regiones del sur se encuentra normalmente en los valles de los ríos hasta unos 2.000 m de altitud. |
