Description Portion of 1895 Sanborn Map of New Orleans, showing a section of the Storyville District, blocks bounded by Customhouse (now Iberville), Basin, Bienville, and Liberty Streets. Note buildings at corner of Customhouse and Franklin labled "Negro Dance Hall"; the one on the Lake side I believe being what is remembered as "the Pig Ankle" and the one on the river side "the 101 Ranch" aka "Entertainer's Cafe". Note also the railroad tracks coming in on Bienville Street before they were moved by Orleans.
