Description
Svenska: Bemålad träskulptur från 1400-talet föreställande det lokala helgonet Sankta Elin. Skulpturen har suttit på ett altarskåp i Skallmeja kyrka, Skallmeja socken, Skånings härad, Skara kommun, f.d. Skaraborgs län, Skara stift, Västergötland, Västra Götalands län, Sverige. Sankta Elin förknippas främst med Skövde och Götene i Västergötland. Elin avbildades under medeltiden som en änka med huvuddok och halslin. I vänster hand brukar hon hålla en bok med sitt avhuggna finger på. I höger hand håller hon vanligen en pilgrimsstav eller ett svärd. Fotot taget i utställningen "Legenden Elin" på Skövde stadsmuseum sommaren 2013.
