Description
English: Moscow, the Palace of Soviets housing estate in Tekstilschiki district (Saratovskaya Street etc.). The midrise township was built for the management of the Palace of Soviets in the 1950s, when the idea of building the Palace was resurrected for the last time. These photos were made at the peak of the 2010 heat wave in Moscow, thus the grass is half-dead and there are many fallen leaves as early as July 25.
Русский: Москва, Текстильщики, посёлок строителей Дворца Советов. Посёлок строился для товарищей начальников строительства в 1950-е, когда идею Дворца реанимировали в (пред?) последний раз. Фото сделаны на пике аномальной жары 2010 года, поэтому трава выгорела и на земле много мёртвых листьев (а время всего-то июль).
