Description
English: Garden pavilion with four caryatids on the island of Island Pond („Inselteich“), part of the manor park („Gutspark“) of Saßleben/Zasłomjeń, district of Calau/Kalawa, Landkreis Oberspreewald-Lausitz, Brandenburg, Germany. It was built in 1924/25 by the Wertheim family. The whole park is a listed cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: Der Inselpavillon (Gartenpavillon) auf der Insel des Inselteichs innerhalb des Gutsparks von Saßleben/Zasłomjeń, Ortsteil von Calau/Kalawa, Landkreis Oberspreewald-Lausitz, Brandenburg, Deutschland. Das Gebäude wurde 1924/25 im Auftrag der Familie Wertheim errichtet, wobei vier Karyatiden als Trägerfiguren des Vordachs Verwendung fanden. Diese stammen sehr wahrscheinlich von einem Berliner Wertheim-Kaufhaus. Die Treppenstufen führen hinunter zu einer direkt am Teichufer gelegenen Aussichtsterrasse. Die Gesamtanlage steht als Teil des Gutsparks unter Denkmalschutz.
