| Description |
English: There seems to be some kind of narrow-gauge electric railway system in the mine, (seen also in photos in this website) judging by the size of the Wohnwagen in the centre. Germany is the world's largest miner of Brown Coal, followed by China and the USA, much of it in the former GDR.
The two huge Schaufelradbagger or Bucketwheel excavators and/or stackers in the photo were probably made by TAKRAF in Eberswalde, the DDR's specialist crane maker, with models prefixed SRs |
