Deutsch: Blick vom Westufer über den Schwenowsee zum Ostufer. Der Schwenowsee ist ein 25 Hektar umfassender Natursee im Landkreis Oder-Spree, Brandenburg. Das Gewässer liegt in Schwenow, einem Gemeindeteil der Kleinstadt Storkow, der zum Storkower Ortsteil Limsdorf gehört. Der Kern des namengebenden Dorfs Schwenow befindet sich nordwestlich des Sees. Der vollständig von Wald umgebene See wird vom (allerdings weitgehend trockenliegenden) Schwenowseegraben gespeist. Die Entwässerrung erfolgt über den Schwenowseegraben, den östlich benachbarten Drobschsee und den Blabbergraben in die Spree. Der See gehört zum Naturpark Dahme-Heideseen und zum FFH-/Naturschutzgebiet Schwenower Forst.
English: View over the Schwenowsee from its western shore to the east. The Schwenowsee is a lake in the District Oder-Spree, Brandenburg, Germany. The lake is located in the village Schwenow, which belongs to Limsdorf, a part (german: Ortsteil) of the town Storkow. The lake covers 25 hectare. It is situated in the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park and in the Naturschutzgebiet (protected area)/Natura 2000-area Naturschutzgebiet Schwenower Forst. |
