Item 204668, Historic Building Survey Photograph Collection (Record Series 1629-01), Seattle Municipal Archives. English: West side of First Avenue, Seattle, Washington, near Spring Street, circa 1974. The small buildings near the camera here were demolished a few years later and replaced by the Watermark apartment building. The two larger buildings (the Grand Pacific Hotel, not to be confused with the building of the same name in Victoria, BC), and the Colonial Hotel Building, are still extant 2024; the ones past that (on the other side of Seneca Street) were demolished for the Harbor Steps complex. |
