Looking south on Seattle's Railroad Avenue, near Cedar Street, in 1934. American Can Company Building on left, Piers 13 & 14 (later 69 & 70) on right. A seawall would soon eliminate the need for Railroad Avenue (later Alaskan Way) to be over water.
