English: View looking north from 2nd Ave. and Madison St. in Seattle. Original caption: "Second Avenue stretch of creosoted wood block paving, extending from Madison to Seneca Street. The Pacific Creosoting Company, which put in the pavement as a demonstration, guarantees it for ten years."
