English: 3-D Reconstruction of the RAD21 Cohesin Subunit in a Grasshopper Pachytene Spermatocyte The chromatin is in blue, whereas RAD21 is in green. Note the absence of labeling inside the whole domain occupied by the sex chromosome (region of condensed chromatin in the nuclear periphery located at the top of the video).
