Description

The toe of the Timothy Eaton statue in Toronto, Canada. For decades, the statue was a meeting spot in the Eaton's department store, and generations of Torontonians rubbed the toe for good luck. With the demise of the Eaton's chain, the statue now rests in the Royal Ontario Museum.

Another casting of the statue sat in the Eaton's downtown Winnipeg store for decades, with Winnepers also rubbing the toe for luck. The Winnipeg casting now sits in the MTS Centre arena.
