Siney Tarn, in Eskdale Cumbria, on a bright and sunny day in June 2018

Summary edit

Description
English: Tarns are mountain pools or small lakes that were formed when the glaciers retreated at the end of the ice age. Siney Tarn, in Eskdale Cumbria, is a small tarn located just above the larger and more widely known Blea Tarn. This photograph was taken from above the tarn on an uncharacteristically bright and sunny day.
