Summary edit

Description Both lighthouses at the end of the piers in Duluth have a light mounted outside of the lantern room of the lighthouse that serves as a backup if something happens to the fresnel lens inside the lantern room. This is the backup light for the South Pier Breakwater Light. It is in use right now as the fresenl lens for the South Pier light is encased in a plywood box and has been since last fall.
