Description
English: This plaque documents that the now-stationary footbridge spanning Union Slough and linking the marsh/swamp island Spencer Island, to Everett, Washington was originally bascule "Jack Knife" drawbridge spanning nearby Ebey Slough at Home Acres Road. In that prior capacity it was a road bridge, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places from July 16, 1982 to July 16, 1990 (NRHP ID 73001888).
