English: There are about a dozen large wastebins 45 metres (50 yards) from this corner in Spencer Road. ( I measured it with Google Earth! )
But, hey, who can be bothered to walk fifty yards? Here's a convenient corner behind a phone cabinet and next to a wall, where you can neatly tuck two black rubbish bags, some old clothes and a few boxes. ════════════════════ Sunday photostroll 28 December 2008 - 13:54 This photo is part of a set of 26 photos - all taken within 75 minutes. A resident complained to me - as her local ward councillor - about a pile of dumping on Lansdowne Road, Tottenham. So I strolled there - taking photos on the way. Why take photos rather than just report it for clearance? Because simply reporting dumping doesn't solve the problem. Perversely, by itself it probably makes things worse.
