Description
English: "The milliners of Paris have decreed that the flat-iron or boat-shaped hat will be quite the thing, especially for spring wear. No. 1 shows the shape. The frame is covered with pink silk straw braid. A great bow of pink ribbon, fastened with a handsome steel buckle, almost covers the top of the hat. No. 2 is a flat hat, made of pale blue maline. A wreath of tiny forget-me-nots forms a pretty finish and the under side of the brim is ornamented with wee pink rose buds, slightly larger than the button roses which were so popular last spring."
