Description St. Augustine Church, founded in 1571, was designed by Geralomo Cassar, an architect of the Order of St. John. Many of its artifacts date back to the 16th century, including the famous painting of the Augustinian Nicholas of Tolentino, a work by renowned artist Mattia Preti.
