Notes: View probably taken from atop the old First Presbyterian Church of New Orleans on Lafayette Square, looking downriver along St. Charles Street (St. Charles Avenue). Undated, but construction of the new Masonic Building at center right dates it to 1926. Reviewing stands are in front of Gallier Hall, in preparation for some event/parade, possibly Mardi Gras season. The tall dome-topped building in distance at left is the Hibernia Bank Building.
