Nederlands: Zelfgemaakte foto.

De foto is genomen aan de Dr. Verbeecklaan, die na de eik als Breestraat doorloopt naar de dorpskern. Linksaf de Alexandriëstraat, rechtsaf de Oude Breestraat.

Dit is de belangrijkste uitvalsweg van het dorp. Duidelijk te zien is dat deze eik geen plaats laat voor een fietspad of uitwijkmanoeuvres.

In de ochtendspits voegen zich hier de stromen middelbare scholieren samen uit Breestraat en Oude Breestraat, twee aan twee fietsend naar scholen in Boxmeer en Stevensbeek, rakelings langs het vrachtverkeer en de vaak optrekkende personenauto's. Hoewel de Dr. Verbeecklaan aan beide zijden van een fietspad voorzien is, en twee flitspalen enige discipline aanbrengen, blijft dit voor fietsers een zeer gevaarlijke plek.

Het gemotoriseerd verkeer rijdt ook zichzelf te pletter, maar dat gebeurt meestal na een uitgaansavond, en iets verder, achter de rug van de fotograaf, waar nog meer eiken staan.
