Summary

edit
Description This church stands near the River Dysynni, just east of the ruins of Castell-y-Bere. There has been a church on this site since the 13th century, suggesting that the current building was erected in conjunction with Castell-y-Bere. Near the vestry is a small window, slightly offset. This is known as the Leper Window, and tradition says that it was made to allow inmates of a local leper colony to view services without actually entering the church.
